The real reason I want to meet Bruce Springsteen
My husband is a VietNam vet. After leaving the Marines, he has devoted his life to the poor and homeless and has worked as a social worker for over 30 years. He recently published a great novel entitled CHINA WHITE and now it is time to have his work presented to the world. He is a tireless man who has given his life’s blood to helping the people Bruce Springsteen sings about. I would hope Bruce is not an untouchable in being able to support my husband’s work now that he has chosen an art form to speak about his world of the poor, in which he has fought as a spokesperson for all the voiceless.
Bruce has been a voice for those who could not speak for themselves, just like my husband. This is the reason I want to contact him.
